What is you favorite thing about Jordan? Jordan is incredibly reliable, faithful and true to his word. Since he was very young he has had a heart for pursuing God.
Describe Jordan in 3 words? Level-headed, tender-hearted, honest.
Tell a funny story about Jordan from his childhood? Well, a favorite is the Rocky Mountains one! He has LOVED to climb since he was little and has been very good at it! In Fall of 1994 we spent 2 weeks out in Estes Park, CO. His dad and I took him on some pretty rigorous hikes…especially for a 2 1/2 year old! He would amaze almost EVERY one that we passed on EVERY hike that we went on! They would say things like, “Wow, he has great balance for such a little kid!” or, “Where does he get all that endurance and energy?” or “Aren’t you afraid of him tripping and falling?” Well, no we weren’t! At the end of the two weeks we were inside the travel trailer cleaning up and Jordan was out on the walkway keeping an eye on his 6 month old little sister Whitney, when we heard this little thud, followed by a whimper. We ran out to see Jordan laying at the bottom of the 3 LITTLE steps of the trailer holding his arm! He had fallen and BROKEN HIS ARM! Go figure….
What is something people should know about him?
Well, I think YOU got a glimpse of that when you worked with him. Jordan is just a great guy. He’s a “what you see is who he is” kinda guy. He’s not showy or attention seeking. He wants to do the right thing. He is ALWAYS thinking of others and is a great friend. In fact, he is often a friend to the person that no one else wants to be a friend to! We are really proud that he is following God’s leading in his life and that God Blessed us with letting us be his parents!!!
Thanks Colleen for letting us get to know Jordan just a little bit more! Julie
Our goal was to do something different. We found an abandoned gas station downtown which I had never done before.
